Felicity Ward

Felicity Ward is an award-winning standup, writer and actor. A hit at the Edinburgh Fringe (where she was given the Spirit of the Fringe award) as well as comedy festivals around her native Australia, she has also toured Europe, the US and Asia.

Taking to standup after appearing in and writing for the Australian sketch show The Ronnie Johns Half Hour, Felicity’s quick, energetic delivery won over audiences and critics. Combining sharp observation with physicality, self- deprecation and the big issues of life she covers the profound and the absurd and everything from dating to cats to anxiety.

Felicity’s TV appearances including Live From the BBC, Russell Howard’s Good News, Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled and The John Bishop Show. As an actor she’s appeared in Josh Widdicombe’s sitcom Josh and The Inbetweeners 2 film.

A.J. started as a copywriter over 18 years ago at TMP Worldwide. Since then he’s worked at GTI Media, Radancy, Blackbridge Communications and now Pink Squid, plus many other agencies on a freelance basis. Whatever the project, he aims to ensure the work reflects the client, resonates with the right audience and is as memorable as possible.

An experienced leader in the People & Culture spaces, Alex currently serves as the Director of People & Culture in Europe – for Westfalia Fruit. Previously, Alex has worked with the likes of L’Oréal, The Body Shop, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty and The Carphone Warehouse Group. More recently, Alex has stepped into wider leadership roles in the SME space, as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Alex has spent many years in a variety of disciplines, overseeing everything from Communications, to EVP, Recruitment, Cultural Change and more. Alex is passionate about the use of the very latest technology to disrupt traditional “HR” ways of working and has also been a final round judge for over 3 years now.

Alex has over 10 years’ experience in employer brand and recruitment marketing, providing strategic direction and leading teams in delivering award-winning work to clients across a range of sectors, including defence, engineering, finance, legal and charities.
Ben is a digital and social media director with 15 years of experience in the agency landscape across the UK, Belgium and Switzerland. Having worked across the consumer, corporate, sustainability and recruitment space, he has advised variety of global brands across numerous industries and sectors.

Chris is also host and producer of The Engaging Employer and Employer Content Marketing Pod where he has spoken with over 60 guests in the employer content and marketing world.
Dulcie is the Digital & Social Director for WeLove9am, an award-winning employer branding and marketing communication agency that helps its clients experience the world of work differently. She’s been in the digital marketing, social and film production world for 20 years and boy has she been busy – producing multiple award-winning social campaigns, films and websites for blue-chip clients across the globe. She is also a qualified Google Specialist, co-host of the WeLove9am Breakfast Show podcast and queen of keeping on top of social trends and candidate experience.
Craig has worked in the recruitment marketing & employer brand space for the past 15 years both agency and client side and over that time has partnered with organisations to develop and activate EVP’s world over, build talent attraction campaigns and launch a career website or two. His current role sees him working strategically with clients to define the right creative and technology solutions to best fit their needs.
Hello, my name is Elliott. Commercially savvy copywriter with a knack for making up stories on the spot. Many of them completely senseless, some of them emotionally relatable. Currently flogging my wares at Tonic Agency. And can’t wait to get stuck into this year’s entries.
Worked as a copywriter in creative agencies, as an editor of special projects in media. For more than 10 years, he has been engaged in employer-branding and development of HR creative solutions. Together with Irakli Marganiya opened makelove agency. The clients are: IKEA, PwC, EY, Cortlex, ABB, Efes, Abbyy, Nissan, Oriflame.
With over 10 years experience in Resourcing and RMA’s HR professional of the year winner previously, Joao currently oversee the Strategic Resourcing and Talent teams to align the talent agenda to the organisations’ and Mayor of London requirements around resourcing and wider people initiatives; with the development and delivery of a GLA talent strategy incorporated into the overall people strategy.
I am an Art Director that has worked at CA3 for almost five years. CA3 is an award-winning creative agency that specialises in employee communications and employer brand and employer communication. Alongside my company I have achieved some highly successful creative work for clients such as DHL Parcel UK, Expedia and Smartest Energy.
Mark Bevans – MD and Founder of ‘WeLove9am’, an award-winning employer branding agency. He’s lived and breathed everything recruitment marketing for nearly 30 years. Mark’s driven by one defining purpose: to make the world of work a better place. He’s hugely passionate and enthusiastic about the employer branding industry. So much so he launched his own Podcast ‘The WeLove9am Breakfast Show’ where he packs a punch in a five-minute blast. Mark heads up operations for the business, and you can normally find him deep in conversation mapping out solutions and strategies for clients.

Mark has over 15 years experience working with clients on how their brand and technology can help them attract, engage and retain the best talent. And he is still going strong. He’s worked with some high-profile brands, delivered some award-winning projects, met some great people and had a lot of fun along the way. That Little Agency is his baby, and it seems to be growing up nicely.

Mark Conachan is the Head of Creative for AMS, a London-based, world-leading talent organization, focusing on employer brand and marketing for the Employer Brand Advisory team. Clients include Synchrony, MSD, Vishay, MassMutual, Rolls Royce, McDonald’s, citizenM and more leading brands. He brings 25 years of leadership, from digital to consumer packaged goods to brand development, to better position clients to attract and retain people. He believes that for large companies, treating candidates with same creativity dedicated to consumers is the biggest opportunity in branding today. Mark is from Portland, Oregon and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Matt Alder is a strategic consultant focusing on innovation and technology in HR and Talent Acquisition. He is the host of Recruiting Future, the world’s most popular talent acquisition podcast, and, over the last 20 years, has built a reputation as a global thought leader, working with employers to optimize their digital strategies. He is the author of two books “Exceptional Talent” (Kogan Page, 2017) and “Digital Talent “(Kogan Page, 2022) and has delivered keynote speeches at industry events in 17 countries.

Having a father who worked in Employer Branding means I’m one of the few people who has truly grown up with the industry! I’ve spent the last four years in a range of agencies, always focused on insight and strategy. I’m currently an Employer Brand Consultant at Tonic. Whether it’s recruiting a specific talent group, or a complete employer brand refresh, I help our clients identify the stories they should be telling. Our industry has never been in a stronger place and I can’t wait to see the incredible work we’ve done collectively to solve our clients’ biggest challenges.
I started my career with Austin Knight, then moved to brand and product agencies for the next twenty years, learning all aspects of brand creation, building and marketing. I started a Digital division, producing our first website in 1998. From there to TMP Worldwide, and then to start a people brand and communications business with my business partner Jennifer Millar. We work from SMEs to globals and its still a job I love.
As a strategic and creative employer brand professional, Suzanne develops authentic employer brands, EVPs and engaging end-to-end solutions for global organisations. With over 15 years’ experience across retail, pharmaceuticals, engineering, finance, law and manufacturing, her passion is focused on truly integrated solutions, underpinned by data, successful project delivery and commercial value. Suzanne leads the EMEA Brand Advisory Team for Early Careers and is an award-winning strategist having won awards recently for both Rolls-Royce and Santander.
Tom’s team is responsible for delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns for some of the largest organisations in the world. The team has a wealth of experience across social, content, radio, print, and television marketing – plus other channels. Tom previously worked in a variety of marketing roles across the B2C and B2B space, before moving to Symphony Talent.
